upon Iris ter Schiphorst's compositional teaching concept "Experimental Composing with Children"
...Based on the conviction that composing has nothing to do with magic, but can in principle be learned even by musical amateurs, composer Iris ter Schiphorst has developed a compositional teaching concept based on her many years of compositional practice and university teaching experience. I was involved in its implementation at university level in two seminars entitled "Experimental Composing with Children" at the University of the Arts. Following the seminar practice, the present description of the compositional teaching model was created.
